How did I end up on here?
Just looking to chat, make friends and hopefully find 'the one'.
I'm generally a happy positive person, I like to keep busy and enjoy a natter over good coffee. I have two children 4 and 1. I own my own home and land/smallholding. I have 2 ponies, sheep, chickens, 6 dogs and 2 cats. So I think it's safe to say I like animals! I spend a lot of time outside looking after animals and land, you'll find me most days with some sort of tool in hand. I used to ride (my whole life) but kids ponies have taken over! I do plan on going back to it.
I love the countryside, cozying up in front of the fire with a film or TV series. We go to church when we can. Home cooking, Sunday dinners a must! I love music, my taste is very varied from pop to folk. I do love a bit of Ed Sheeran, Noah Kahan, The Lumineers, Mumford and Sons, Vance Joy. I hate horror films or crime documentaries so probably not a good match. I'll watch most other genres, I love Harry Potter! I'm also obsessed with Christmas, it brings me a lot of joy. I love all the decorations, food, baking etc... My home is cosy country as opposed to modern, I love a fluffy blanket and a good book. Country shows, game fairs, love a trip up to Scotland or the lake District. I haven't been abroad for a long time, I would like to go occasionally but I enjoy a caravan holiday or a weekend in a holiday cottage/lodge somewhere by a lake/loch or the sea just as much. I enjoy gardening and relaxing in the garden, BBQ and water fun with my children. I love hosting get togethers, birthday parties, natural born party planner I guess. Love a good themed party. Love the seaside, fish and chips followed by ice-cream, I mean what could be better? I'm hard working and I guess ultimately I just to meet someone who is also hard working, like minded and who wants a cosy country life with an appreciation for the simple things in life. I will not talk about my children beyond parent humour so please don't ask their names or anything.
Anyway I've rambled on enough. Hopefully this gives a sense of who I am, I tried to put as much information as possible so I don't waste hours of my life just to discover we have nothing in common.
